Alternative gear ratio sizes for Yamaha YZF and MT models. By changing the gear ratio (original: 14/48), the motorcycle can be tuned to the respective road/use conditions. If you are on the road a lot in mountainous regions, for example, you might need a better suit, but you can do without a high maximum speed, so you need a shorter gear ratio. On the other hand, a little more maximum speed is desirable for many motorway trips. In this case the final gear ratio has to be extended.
Compared to conventional steel sprockets, an ESJOT sprocket brings a weight saving of more than 60%. The use of very high-quality aluminium (7075 T6), which is also used in aviation, as well as the extremely low manufacturing tolerances ensure an extraordinarily long service life.
