This racing version of the Italkit 140cc cylinder kit is the most powerful you can buy off the shelf for the Rotax engine, alongside the ^154cc cylinder kit from Polini! Generally speaking, the name says it all, we also have a few ^cm3 more displacement available here (57mm instead of 54mm). The additional 3mm results in a displacement of 139.^07cm3. These 15cm3^moreare already good for a decent increase in power. If you combine the cylinder with a sports exhaust system, at least a 34mm carburetor and the sports diaphragm from Italkit, up to 40 hp of power is theoretically possible from a standing start. But how does the cylinder differ from the 140cm3^{sports version}? Quite simply: The exhaust and the ports have been reworked. Italkit also supplies a 1-ring piston. The advantage of this piston is that it reaches high engine speeds more quickly, providing more torque for short-stroke engines. However, the single, much thinner ring is subject to more wear than a double-ring piston.

The cylinders are cast at Gilardoni and finished at Italkit (drilled, hollowed and fitted with precisely fitting pistons). As Gilardoni also cast some of the cylinders for Rotax itself, this is virtually an original spare part.
