Motul 5100 4T 10W40 is a multigrade oil for demanding motorcycle engines based on Motul technology synthesis with high-quality ester components and special additives for transmission lubrication. Exceeds the requirements of motorcycle manufacturers such as: Suzuki, Kawasaki & Yamaha, who prescribe the viscosity SAE 10W40. For high performance bikes, sport bikes, road machines, trail, off road bikes, enduro, trial, quad, scooter etc. with 4T engines with or without integrated gearbox, wet or dry clutch. In combination with the additive package, ester components improve the shear strength, wear protection and service life of the engine and transmission. This is documented by the outstanding FZG (Forschungsstelle für Zahnräder und Getriebebau) test result of the Failure Load Stage =14 FLS (Failure Load Stage). The lower the value e.g. 1 FLS, the lower the wear protection, the higher the value e.g. >14 FLS, the better the wear protection of the transmission. This test can be used to determine whether an appropriate lubricant film thickness between the gears ensures reliable operation of the transmission
