With the exhaust paint Motip you can give your exhaust a different colour and thus give your 125cc motorcycle a new look. The paint, for example in black matt, is primarily intended for painting exhaust systems. Of course you can also use it on other parts and objects made of metal, cast iron and aluminium. As a rider of a 125cc bike, you emphasise your love of freedom and your personal style. As a logical consequence, 125cc riders opt for individual design that stands out from the mainstream and makes their bike unique.

Small effort, big effect: Exhaust paint from Motip

For a characteristic look you do not always need a major tuning action. With little tricks you can achieve a big effect that makes your 125 unmistakable: Change the colour of your bike's exhaust pipe with Motip's high-quality exhaust paint for a fine, new and noble style. Matt black is particularly suitable here because this colour gives the exhaust a very sporty and modern touch. At the same time the paint also has a practical use, because the colour on the exhaust pipe effectively protects it from rust and other harmful influences. The paint is also suitable as engine protection paint. Maybe you just want to "camouflage" one or the other component in casual black matt against unpleasant looks. This also works very well with these heat-resistant paints.

The right preparation to paint the exhaust

Painting the exhaust means working at leisure - the more carefully and thoroughly you work, the more professional and perfect your result will be. It is important that you clean the exhaust thoroughly, remove rust and oil and grease before painting. Then you should sand or sandblast the exhaust. Because of the roughened surface, the exhaust paint motip can adhere much better later. Before painting, the surface must be absolutely dust- and grease-free and dry.

Now comes paint on the exhaust

Before you start, simply shake the can with your exhaust paint well for 2 to 3 minutes. A primer is not required, you can start right away with the exhaust paint in your chosen colour. Apply the first layer evenly at a distance of approx. 25 cm. Keep this distance, because if you spray too densely with the can, unsightly colour noses could form. When you have applied the first coat, let it dry well. Then you can continue with the second coat. Let it dry through as well. In most cases two coats are enough to paint your exhaust clean. If you don't like the result yet, you can apply further coats in the procedure given. Note, however, that adhesion and temperature resistance are better if the paint layer is as thin as possible. When you are finished and the exhaust paint is completely dry, the paint must be heated to 160 - 200 °C for about 30 minutes. As this can cause unpleasant odours, you should ensure good ventilation. The exhaust paint is best applied at temperatures between +10 °C and +25 °C and a maximum humidity of 60 %. The paint is temporarily heat-resistant up to 650 °C. Important! The exhaust paint is not suitable for chrome-plated parts!

der lach ist voll der fail es hat mir sofort den deckel der düse verstopft dann habe ich handschuhe angezogen krümmer und endtopf auf ein brett ein loch in die dose gestochen und dann müsst ihr schnell sein inerhald ca.30 sec ist die dose leer also müsst ihr schnell lackieren aber bei mir hält der lack ganz gut ist noch nichts geblättert

Lack sieht gut aus, bin damit ein zweites Mal über den Gianelli gegangen, allerdings muss der Auspuff 30-60 min nach Aufschrift auf 160° zur Aushärtung des Lacks erhitzt werden, wsl für eine Art Ofen in der Industrie gedacht, ich habs mit der Heißluftpistole auf 400° gemacht, is zwar mühsam und langweilig, aber es geht.
Da das hier nicht angegeben wird, mal nur 4 Sterne.
