A homologated dB reduction is included with GPR. On the Deeptone model, this is attached to the end cap by means of a circlip. Depending on the model, GPR also supplies a funnel-shaped insert in addition to the dB eater mentioned above, which is attached to the inlet of the silencer to reduce the noise level to the permitted level. Caution: If the exhaust system is used on public roads without the supplied dB reducers, the approval expires!

A special racing dB eater is also available for noise-restricted racetracks, which can offer an optimum compromise between sound and power delivery.
