Every motorbike owner should have paints, polishes and painting accessories at home. Whether it's optical changes or small repairs to dents, with the right tools, anyone can do it themselves. In this category, you will find everything you need for paint care, motorbike polish and for painting motorbike parts. It doesn't matter whether it's acrylic surfaces, the motorbike paint itself or the exhaust. We offer everything a motorbike owner's heart desires at unbeatable prices.
Accessories to repair scratches and dents
Over time, minor scratches on your bike simply cannot be avoided. Especially on the exhaust, turn signals and also on the windshield, these are very common. This is not only annoying, but can also ruin the appearance of your bike over time. Fortunately, you can repair most paint damage yourself with a few simple steps and the right tools. For example, for scratches on many parts, there is an acrylic scratch remover from Presto. It is super easy to use and scratches on headlights, speedometer covers etc. can be removed in no time at all.
Maybe the paintwork on your bike has a few small scratches and you would like to touch them up yourself? In our shop you will find wet sandpaper and other tools that can help you with these repairs. Smaller dents can be repaired with the right pressure and professional reshaping, and then filled, polished and repainted. Larger damage and dents should, of course, always be carried out by a professional workshop to ensure that the motorbike continues to function fully. However, minor motorbike polishing can be done by yourself.
Motorbike painting tips from a professional
Paint always needs special care and that is not as easy as it always looks. Here are six tricks from the pros for proper paint care:
1. always apply polish to the polishing wheel, not to the paintwork.
2. every agent needs its own cloth. Cleanliness is the be-all and end-all.
3. work in a rectangle and not in a circle. This prevents patterns in the paint.
4. only work on small areas at a time.
5. each product should be used in small quantities.
6. the use of polishing machines should be learned and is not for beginners.
Motorbike paint: want a new look for your bike?
In our shop you will find numerous spray cans in a wide range of colours. But the correct application of spray cans needs to be practised. The dosage in particular can be quite difficult. That's why we have the Dupli Color Spraymaster spray gun in our shop. For a really unbeatable price, you can convert any Motip Dupli spray can into a real spray gun. The dosage and thus an even paint job will then be a real piece of cake.
Have you ever thought about giving your bike a little colour highlight? How about a new colour for your exhaust pipe, for example? Maybe it's still in a rather boring colour but you'd like it to be matt black? Thanks to Motip exhaust paint, this is no longer a problem. It is especially heat-resistant and therefore perfectly suitable for the exhaust. In general, the exhaust should always be dismantled before it is sprayed with the new exhaust paint. But the best thing to do is to visit our shop and take a look at the paint yourself. There you will also find a short instruction for the application of the spray.
