Fitting sleeves are used to mount parts such as cylinder head & cylinder exactly centered on each other. From our experience, we know that in the case of a quick botch is often dispensed with fitting sleeves. This often results in leaks occurring again more quickly or components breaking down more quickly due to higher loads. The sleeves should not be replaced with all work, but to do without it is definitely not recommended!
