The Lambdasone measures the residual oxygen content in the exhaust gas after combustion. Based on this sensor, the fuel in the mixture is permanently increased or reduced. If the lambda sensor is no longer working properly, this mainly affects the exhaust gas and the work of the catalytic converter. A defective lambda sensor is often the reason why an exhaust emission test is not passed.
