Resistor cables for LED turn signals are required to supply the original turn signal relay with the necessary switching load if the standard turn signals are replaced by new LED turn signals.
In combination with the LED turn signal, the resistor cable now loads the original turn signal relay again exactly as the standard turn signal and thus ensures the correct switching interval.

The LED turn signals therefore flash at the correct speed and meet the prescribed standard.
Alternatively, of course, a special LED turn signal relay can be installed.
