The secret of the Iridium IX spark plug lies in the laser-welded electrode. Due to its "minimal" diameter of only 0.6 mm, it concentrates the ignition voltage.

Advantages: The optimal ignition characteristics of the Iridium IX spark plugs prevent sooting, especially in stop and go traffic. Misfiring or misfires are prevented. This reduces pollutant emissions and protects the catalytic converter (if fitted) and the environment. The Iridium IX spark plugs ensure "round" engine running, increase the driving experience through better acceleration and thus offer more driving pleasure. The spark plug lasts at least twice as long as any normal spark plug. Frequent changes are a thing of the past. This in turn reduces costs.
